1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on a device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and software development kits.
2. Cookie categories
Strictly necessary
These support security, network management, accessibility and core website functions. They generally cannot be switched off through a consent tool.
Preferences
These remember choices such as language, display or other optional settings.
Analytics
These help understand how visitors use the website. Configure them to run only after consent where required.
Marketing
These may measure campaigns or support personalised advertising. They should remain blocked until valid consent is provided.
3. Current template configuration
The base template loads Google Fonts and does not include analytics, advertising pixels or live chat. Review all added third-party tools before launch and list their names, purposes, providers and durations here.
4. Managing choices
Add a consent management platform before introducing non-essential cookies. Visitors should be able to accept, reject and revisit granular choices as easily as they accepted them.
5. Contact
Questions can be sent to privacy@example.com.
